Helmstone launches beta version of EDI-Viewer.net
This updated version of the viewer adds more functionality for users and auditors to search and view EDI files in EDI format, in a human readable form and in an optional XML format if required.

NHIUK Site Re-skinned
The Natural Health International website has been given a new look and functionality update.
The new design incorporates updated graphics and html. We have also improved the functionality by making the search and tracking tools available throughout the site.
Initial feedback from clients has been very positive :-)

New Server Switch Report
We have now finished the move to new web and db servers and has been a great success.
The email service was briefly interrupted over the weekend, but there was no loss of data and normal service was resumed by Monday morning.

Helmstone Move To New Servers
Notice to clients
Over the last few weeks we have been moving our web hosting to new servers.
These are faster, more scalable, and are running the latest Microsoft server software. They will enable us to continue to provide a stable and secure hosting platform with all the future Microsoft security updates automatically applied as the current ones are.
We will also be moving our email server to this new platform. Please be advised that there will be a period where you will not be able to connect to our servers to send and receive mail.
However, any mail sent to you will be collected and stored on the new server at the instant of switchover, so you will not lose any emails.
Your own send / receive of mail is dependent on the Internet's Domain Name System, which maps your mail server name to the address of the actual computer that deals with it. When we switch over to the new server, there will be a period of up to 24 hours before the mail server name is mapped to the new address. During this time you will be unable to send / receive mail with your current settings.
We will be making these changes at 17:30 this Friday 2nd July to minimize the effect during working hours; save for exceptional circumstances, the domain name records will have refreshed by Monday morning, so hopefully you will not notice any loss of service.

Ebony Design Website Launched
helmstone have recently built a new website for Brighton based bespoke furniture and accessory designers Ebony Design.
The site layout and graphics were designed by Ebony Design themselves. helmstone discussed these designs with Ebony and were able to offer advice and ideas to help develop a classy and functional website.
The site was developed using .NET, javascript and Flash elements.

Release of EDI Viewer
helmstone have just released version 1.0 of our EDI viewer. This is a stand-alone product, part of the EDI Workstation Toolkit.
The viewer allows users to translate EDIFACT messages into structured XML and provides the means to view and print a human readable format. It can also search for individual messages in an interchange.
